Funded FAA Research Projects
FAA - Readiness to Perform (RTP):
1992 - 1996
Research activity funded by the Federal Aviation Administration explored
the use of cognitive performance tests as Readiness-to-Perform (RTP)
measures for assessing an individual's state of cognitive preparedness.
This research investigated the relationship between various RTP tests
(including a subset of ANAM/STRES-R tasks) and simulated work settings
using the Air Traffic Scenarios Test (ATST) and the Multi-Attribute Task
Battery (MATB) under the influence of alcohol, sleep loss, and
antihistamines.
